Coffins HotRod Gang

Coffins Hot Rod Gang (CHRG or just Coffins for short) has always had an eye toward how things were built and created by the original hot rodders.   You wont find billet wheels or pastel street rod paint jobs,  or late 2000s Cadillac interiors in, on or around our rides.

We strive to build and drive period correct pre/post war hot rods and kustoms, with a focus on pre-1960.

This line in the sand at 1960 makes a lot of sense when you look at what was happening in the  industry.  Detroit had noticed that folks were hot rodding and had started a march toward the muscle car era.  The space race while still well under way,  had already played out in auto manufacturing  and left the rocket styling to the late 50s.  cars were entering a new arena of slab sided "go-fast"
